Sensors are the eyes, ears, touch and smell of the
smart house central nervous system. Information from sensors can be
acquired via DIO controller or other
third party data acquisition devices. The FutureHouse automation
software integrates data from all sources into a memory map that can be
referenced using a common set of commands.
Sensor data is used as feedback to control logic for
automated lighting, motorized blinds, security systems and safety
monitoring.

IR Transceiver
POE IR devices send and receive IR commands to all AV
appliances.
RFID sensor is used by occupants to disarm the security
system and inform the house who is home. RFID tags can be in the
form of keychain fobs or tags.
